A great variety of activities are offered at our corporate team building venue and all of them have been designed to promote and encourage bonding, support and trust between the participants – crucial elements for any successful team building event.  Our facilitators are qualified and focus on all aspects of interpersonal dynamics and teamwork and we sit down with you to discuss your objectives before selecting the appropriate activities.

We even offer fun activities for more informal team building exercises for non-corporate groups of ten people or more.  Depending on your requirements, any combination of the following activities are offered:

Themed Evenings

Perhaps the activity that our corporate team building venue has become most famous for is our themed evening events.  Themed evenings have been designed to provide participants with a stage where they can “become someone else” and through this process of role play and acting, many hidden or forgotten fears, talents, strengths and emotions are freed and positively applied to the team building process.

Our corporate team building venue and beautiful natural environment provide a safe space where these aspects of the self can be explored in a planned way while being facilitated by qualified personnel to make sure your team building effort benefits maximally from it.  You may try activities you have only dreamed of before and discover hidden talents while you are James Bond or a pirate!

Some of the themed evenings offered at our specialised corporate team building venue include:

• African Theme Diner: a cultural African Spaza shop theme, replete with the obligatory drums.
• Picnic under the Northwest Skies: enjoy a basket of snacks and sparkling wine on the lawn or Granite Rock, with the roaring Vaal as the backdrop.
• Austin Powers & Fox Lady (1960s): Yeah, Baby!  Start dancing and have a groovy night!
• Texan Saloon Evening: your chance to be John Wayne.

Accommodation for 139 Delegates

We have several accommodation options available at our corporate team building venue where up to 139 delegates (sharing) can be accommodated.  The accommodation facilities include:

• Single storey cabins
• Double story Canadian log cabins
• The Thorntree Cottage guesthouse with 11 rooms, five bathrooms and space for 21 people
• The Quarter Deck executive suites, ideal for senior management
